I have over 14 years of experience working in and with Immigration Law Offices. I started as a Legal Assistant / Office Manager and then moved up to a Paralegal. I have over 10 years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal. I have worked remotely exclusively for the last 3 years and was working both remote and in office for 4 years prior to that. I have been working as a contract / freelance Immigration Paralegal since 2015. I am used to working with offices that are not located in my state and have an office set up to perform the necessary duties of a remote Immigration Paralegal. I have reliable internet, computer and scanner and am very experienced with using all different types of technology including online case management software, word processing and spreadsheets.
I have extensive experience working on all types of family based applications – Adjustment of status, K1s, Naturalization, FOIAs, I-90s, Asylum, I-130s, I-131s, DACAs, I-751s, I-601s, I-765s, I-821s, U visa, consular processing and more. I also have experience with EOIR removal cases as well. This experience includes gathering information from clients to draft forms, form review with clients, gathering required documents from clients, Being the clients point of contact with the office, reviewing forms and documents, assembling the application packages for attorney review and then packaging and sending the application packages to USCIS. Also drafting and reviewing declarations and affidavits with clients. I have extensive experience with fiancé visas and consular processing through many different embassies as well.
I have extensive experience with office management including calendar management and keeping track of deadlines to ensure work is completed and submitted on time. Management and training of staff. Billing including invoicing of clients and keeping track of client contracts and accounts. Paying office bills and managing vendors.
